# Floor Plan Panel -- Store Layout and Maintenance

## What Is the Floor Plan Panel?

The Floor Plan Panel is a workbook panel that gives you a read-only view of your store's floor plan, along with rack maintenance tasks and move tasks. It helps the team stay on top of rack upkeep and layout changes without needing to leave the Workbook.

## Where to Find It

The Floor Plan Panel appears as a panel within the Workbook view. If your store has a floor plan configured, it loads automatically when you open the Workbook.

If no floor plan has been set up, the panel shows a message: "No floor plan configured" with a link to create one (for administrators).

## Panel Sections

### Mini Map

At the top of the panel, a thumbnail image shows your store's floor plan layout. This gives you a bird's-eye view of the rack arrangement.

### Stats Row

Below the mini map, two statistics are displayed:

| Stat | Description |
|------|-------------|
| **Racks** | Total number of racks in your floor plan |
| **Need Attention** | Number of racks that are overdue for maintenance |

### Maintenance Queue

This section lists racks that need maintenance, ordered by priority. Each item shows:

- **Rack Name** -- The name/label of the rack
- **Rack Type** -- What kind of rack it is
- **Days Since** -- How many days since the last maintenance
- **Priority Indicator** -- Color-coded by urgency:
  - **Red border** (high priority) -- Significantly overdue
  - **Yellow border** (normal priority) -- Due for maintenance
- **Complete Button** -- A checkmark button to mark the maintenance as done

When you click the complete button on a maintenance task:
1. The rack is marked as maintained in the system
2. The task slides out of the list with a smooth animation
3. The "Need Attention" counter decreases
4. When all tasks are done, you see "All racks up to date!"

### Move Tasks

The Move Tasks section appears when there is an active "wanted" layout change scheduled for your store. This happens when management has designed a new floor layout and items need to be moved from one rack/socket to another.

Each move task shows:

- **Task Type** -- Either "add" (green, place items on a rack) or "remove" (red, take items off a rack)
- **Description** -- What needs to be moved
- **Category** -- The product subcategory involved
- **Status** -- "Pending" (yellow clock icon) or "Completed" (green checkmark)
- **Layout Name** -- Which layout change these tasks belong to

#### Completing Move Tasks

For each pending move task, click the **checkmark button** to mark it as complete.

If the move involves backstock, you will be prompted to enter a backstock bin number. You can:
- Enter the bin number immediately
- Leave it blank and set the bin number later using the **Set Bin** button that appears after completion

A badge in the section header shows how many move tasks are still pending.

## Panel States

| State | What You See |
|-------|-------------|
| **Loading** | Spinner with "Loading floor plan..." |
| **No Floor Plan** | "No floor plan configured" with a link to create one |
| **Active** | Mini map, stats, maintenance queue, and move tasks |
| **All Clear** | "All racks up to date!" when no maintenance is needed |

## Refreshing Data

The Floor Plan Panel loads data when the Workbook opens. To refresh, you can:
- Use the panel's refresh button (if visible in the header)
- Reload the Workbook page
- Navigate away from and back to the Workbook view

## Tips

- **Check the maintenance queue each morning** -- keeping racks maintained improves the store's appearance and makes it easier for customers to browse
- **Prioritize red (high priority) tasks** -- these racks have gone the longest without attention
- **Complete move tasks as you go** -- do not wait until the end of the day; marking tasks done as you finish them helps the team track progress
- **Enter backstock bin numbers** when prompted -- this keeps your backstock inventory accurate and connected to the floor plan
